did the pizza/salad dinner buffet upstairs with a local coupon. the food was good, nothing fancy, not a great choice of pizza toppings. sign on the door says they will add 10% to every check, i guess for buffet re-stocking. $2.50 for each self-serve soda drink, so that about nullified the coupon. $45 ish for 4 people seemed a bit steep. good food and good wait-staff, they were very alert and courteous, but felt like i was nickel-and-dimed.

If you're looking for the best breakfast buffet in Ocean City, head to Hall's ($10.99 for Adults). If you're looking for the best seafood buffet in Ocean City, head to Hall's ($29.99 for Adults). If you're searching for a great restaurant, who has great service, and affordable prices, head to Hall's. They also now offer a pizza, pasta, soup and salad buffet that is scruptious as well. Make sure that you check the Sunny Day Guide for Hall's Coupon offers......

For a 12 dollar breakfast buffet I expect more than cardboard like pancakes watered down coffee, and a mix mash of food that comes straight out of a box. Avoid...

Decent breakfast buffet for an ok price ( I think adults were $10-11 kids maybe $4.99). They actually had eggs benedict which was ok considering it's a buffet. DO NOT ORDER DRINKS!!!!! A kid's juice was $3! So was our coffee. Really??? $3 for a juice and bleh coffee? The waiters are not very good and we got no refills on any of it. So I paid $3 for a cup smaller than a Starbucks tall coffee ($1.50 at Starbucks). I had to also get another waiter to find ours so we could pay our bill. If I return to Ocean City, I may go back, but water for everyone!

Early evening buffet, noticed a couple things wrong about this place. Its overpriced for a buffet and selection is really low, simple, and cafeteria-like compared to better buffets. Now, if you go there and notice these following things also, please write them up here in Yelp. Because i truly think Hall's needs a visit by the local health dept. First, the flies. As soon as i approach the meat carving station, no one is there except one fly that had been there for who knows how long. The meats looked dried out and sitting unheated at room temperature. I passed that up for hot cooked fare which turned out to be bland but least likely to be touched by flies. Two workers showed up later but they didnt change the meats or try to notice their poor quality. Their body language and lack of eye contact was a bit telling. The fly, however followed us back to our table. Second, the worst part: my wife bit into a piece of metal shaving similar to that found in metal scrubbers used to clean pots and pans. The manager wasnt happy but neither were we; she tried to take off a small part of the bill by claiming we had been there an hour. Listen Up: when you find a METAL SHAVING in your own food after 20-30 mins, you do not want to be patronized by someone else negotiating for a few dollars thinking you'll be OK with that. What if my 4 yr old son who was with me bit into that metal?? How 'clean' is your metal shavings in your baked goods?? Do you think if someone maybe got hurt in the mouth or throat eating your restaurant food that saving him or her a few dollars will actually remediate that problem?? Just give all the money back and let the hurt and disgusted ones leave. Look, i rarely write online bad reviews of anything, but this experience forced me to write this. Because i cannot possibly be the only one who was offended by this place. If you go there, you will face health risks in ways you probably never imagined or had to think much about. Threadbare establishments like Halls can rarely fix basic food issues easily, quickly, or sustainably.

The whole family ate at the early bird around 5 pm wasn't too crowded at first but got busy at the end of our dinner. The food was great, the wife started with a salad which she really liked, the kids had all kinds of options pizza, french fries and fried seafood, I started and ended with steamed seafood, crabs, clams and oysters, but tried everything. We had no complaints, very good services and no extra fees like some have said. It is not as big as the Embers, Bonfire, and Phillips but we liked the quieter atmosphere and no line at the buffet or to get in. A great smaller restaurant buffet. We will be back.

Ate there on July 3, 2012 for breakfast & it was the worst! Wish I would have googled it before going. Only 3 other familys there, but it was a weekday, and a little later in the morning,so I didnt think too much about it. 1st thing we noticed is there is no price for the buffet advertised when you walk in.(we asked at the table & they said $10.99). Only good thing on the buffet, was alot of fresh fruit & bacon. Donuts were stale (from day before?),the cream chip beef & sausage gravy(lacking sausage) was like paste! 1 bite, i was done with that.Biscuits very small & really hard.Sausage links & scrapple very brown & dried out & tasted horrible. Most likely from re used grease. To top it all off,we ordered 2 cups of coffee & 2 small tomatoe juices & were charged an extra $12.00 for the drinks! We assumed it came with the buffet or maybe would be a few dollars, but no one told us that it was extra, in fact the young waitress acted like she didnt even want to be there & was not friendly at all.(Cant say I blame her after our experience). We complained to the hostess who referred us to the waitress, who disappeared into the kitchen & then returned to tell us she would only charge us half the price for the drinks. When we went to pay the bill, the waitress again, slipped away into the kitchen to get change. No register up front to pay?? The whole experience was really strange & I couldnt wait to get home to write this review.Do yourself & your family a favor & DO NOT GO HERE. P.S. The Bayside skillet on 77th has wonderul food! We had huge omelets we could not finish, everyone is friendly & the place is adorable! We paid $16.00 each & brought half our food home for the next day! No this is not someone who works at Bayside, I am from NJ & visit OC,MD every summer.I learning to ask the locals whats good & they suggested Bayside Skillet.
